I have decided that it's time to do a little streamlining. I'm still going to be posting my daily photos, as well as Photo Hunters and Thursday Photo Day pictures. But I'll be posting them at my main blog - Random Ramblings of a Drifting Mind. It just seems silly now to be posting all over the place. I really wish I could import all of the posts here to that blog, but evidently that is not an available feature here at Blogger (yet). Oh well.

I posted this picture of my hair before, but I just didn't feel like taking a picture of my hair today, so you get a rerun.

But, in keeping with the premise of this blog, taking a picture every day, here are the pics of the cats I snapped today. After all, they have hair too. I know this because it ends up on all my clothes.

I think on Sunday I'll post a step-by-step how-to for this little project. It was really easy. Those are construction paper ties that the kids colored and put their hand prints on.

Celebrate

The theme for this week's Thursday Photo Day at Create a Connection was "Celebrations." And, since I didn't have celebrations lined up for this week, I thought I'd just take a picture of how I usually celebrate. Yep. I'm a celebratory eater. And a cake-a-holic. This particular cake was to celebrate my class's good behavior the day we had our annual state assessment. The leftovers came home with me.

Yes, they are both on top of the kitchen cabinets. They get there by jumping from the washer across to the top of the fridge first. How Neko managed to get up there when Celeste was already there without being mauled, I do not know.

I was going through some boxes of junk recently (I am a world-class pack rat) and found a folder with some "art" I had created in high school (most likely during study hall). This particular piece I had cleverly titled "Bird Doo On The Windshield."
