Creative spelling, I'll admit, but it works. She sure can kick some pixelated booty!

amazing

When given a choice of activities during free play, these three decided they wanted to "study" the books from the science center. Raine says she wants to be a vet when she grows up :)

Our new parent friends came over this afternoon and I gave their tired arms a break - I could definitely get used to this.

dead batteries

Well, I managed to run out of AA batteries without realizing it, and now the batteries in my camera are dead. So it may be a few days before I get back to posting pics.

Hanky Pankies

A holiday season tradition. I don't know what they are really called; I just remember always calling them Hanky Pankies growing up. I suppose you could also call them "Heart attack on Rye," although that's not the most appetizing of names.
1 lb ground beef
1 lb sausage
1 lb Velveeta
1 lb cocktail rye bread
Brown ground beef and sausage; drain. Add Velveeta and stir until the cheese is all melted. Spread onto cocktail rye and bake at 350 for 7-10 minutes (just long enough to toast the bread)

I won!

I used all my tiles and my husband was left with the Q and nowhere to put it! Sadly, I still lost. But only by 1 point this time! I should take advantage of him being sick more often ;)

Happy New Year!

Relax, folks - it's sparkling grape juice ;)
