Vacation Pics

First of all, a big thank you and hello to everyone from the Photo Hunt who commented last week on my "Childhood" photos. I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to visit everyone then and thank you properly, but as you may be able to tell from the title of this post, I've been out of pocket this week. Now it's time to get caught up on Project 365.

The view from the balcony of unit #402 at the Pelican Beach Resort in Destin, FL - sorry for the poor quality that my cell phone delivers. There seems to be a greenish tint to every pic I take with my cell phone.

After a wonderful lunch at Fudpucker's, we decided we couldn't leave without seeing the 'gators - they have over 100 in their alligator habitat underneath the restaurant's outdoor deck. Admission to the attraction? Free. Again, sorry for the poor quality - I forgot my camera when we left the resort that day.

I now present for your salivation the world's best milkshakes EVAR! Johnny Rockets is right next to the cinema at Destin Commons. They bring you your shake in the glass AND the excess in the mixer cup. So you get 2 shakes for the price of 1 (the price of 1 $5 shake, that is - but it's worth it)!

Another pic I took with my cell phone. It was just such a beautiful morning on the beach and I wanted to be able to take it with me everywhere, so this is the new wallpaper on my phone. I was going to record the ocean as a voice memo to play back whenever I wanted, but I never got around to it.

The dolphins paraded past our resort several times each day - they swim so close to the shore! Mesmerizing creatures.

The pool at the resort. This pic really doesn't do it justice because of the lighting, but for some reason the Night mode on my camera ends up blurring everything. If you can't tell, that's a fountain with 2 dolphins.

Our sunset beach treks were great for spotting ocean life - can you find the crab in this pic? Gotta move fast to catch those little buggers on film - they bury themselves with lightning speed.

Here it is. The saddest part of any vacation. Packing it all up and going home. Yes, all of that stuff is really for just Hubby and me.
